AusFarm goes several steps further than GrazFeed and GrassGro in the description of complex biological systems. It’s structure allows models of farm components to be configured and co-ordinated with an infinitely flexible set of management rules. AusFarm’s modular design means that it can include models from other scientific groups. This greatly expands the number of crop, livestock and management systems that can be represented and analysed. AusFarm is primarily used by experts for large projects and research.

How to access AusFarm:

AusFarm software is available from the CSIRO Data Access Portal.

You can download the AusFarm software directly from CSIRO Data Access Portal
Install the AusFarm software onto your computer
When you start AusFarm an Installation ID will appear
Go to the CSIRO AgData Shop
Create an account at CSIRO AgData Shop or log back in using existing account
Purchase subscription for AusFarm using your Installation ID
Once your purchase has been completed and successfully paid for, your Access Key will be generated and stored with your order details. You can view the order details by navigating to My Account - Orders and selecting your order.
